New Work: STL250 Logo

stl250

Earlier this week, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and STL250 announced the official plans for the city’s upcoming 250th birthday year.

The semiquincentennial celebration will begin at Grand Center’s First Night on New Year’s Eve and continue throughout 2014, including a musical birthday party on Art Hill and a re-enactment of Pierre Laclede’s first steps on the riverfront. Exhibits and 4-foot-tall birthday cake replicas will also appear throughout the city in the coming year.

TOKY was proud to contribute to the birthday celebrations early on through a redesign of STL250’s logo. We created two versions: one with water, and one without.
