TOKY’s Spaces Logo Wins 2011 Brand New Award
The influential “graphic design enterprise” UnderConsideration is out with its 2011 Brand New Awards, and TOKY is honored to have our work included.
The 2011 competition received 598 entries, 42% of those from outside the United States. The distinguished panel of judges met in Austin, Texas, this past spring and selected 86 winners across a range of categories. Within just the Logos category, the panel considered 281 submissions, declaring just 21 winners — more than half from outside the States.
TOKY’s winning logo was for the California arts organization SPACES, a nonprofit whose mission is “to identify large-scale art environments and other publicly-accessible self-taught artistic activities and document these artworks through a wide range of visual and audio recording,” as well as “collect information about these works and advocate for their preservation.”
Thanks to UnderConsideration and the judges — we’re honored to be in such great global company.
