Overview
As innovators in the organ and tissue donation process, Mid-America Transplant works toward a future where organs and tissues are always available to those in need. The organization partnered with TOKY on a number of branding initiatives, from an identity redesign to print and digital annual reports.
NEW NAME. NEW HORIZONS.
Known for decades simply as “MTS,” the organization found that few people knew who they were or how they impacted the community. Along with a name change, Mid-America Transplant needed an inspirational new look that would capture its important mission. TOKY designed the new identity — a bright blue horizon — to symbolize the possibilities inspired by lifesaving organ and tissue donations.
INSPIRED BY NEW POSSIBILITIES
TOKY worked with photographer Patti Gabriel to capture inspiring images of organ and tissue recipients. These photos appear throughout Mid-America Transplant’s new materials, adding an emotional, human touch.
WORKING TOWARD A BRIGHTER FUTURE
To help save more lives through organ and tissue donation, TOKY designed the “Give Life” campaign, which uses poignant recipient stories, compelling statistics, and clear calls to action to encourage community members to join the registry.
INSPIRED BY LIFE: 2015 ANNUAL REPORT
Designed on the tail end of the rebrand, the 2015 Annual Report celebrates the lives saved through organ and tissue transplant, and brings the new Mid-America Transplant brand to life. Visitors can explore five digital chapters, each with animated data points and a donor or recipient story that adds an emotional, human element to the numbers.
