We’re seeking a talented Mid- to Senior-Level Designer to join our vibrant and growing team. You’ll work collaboratively with our award-winning team and help execute and lead projects across brand creation, marketing, and campaigns.
We’re an interdisciplinary branding and marketing firm with clients ranging from craft breweries to Fortune 25 companies. We develop ideas that define how brands are expressed and experienced—both foundationally and at a project level. We create transformative, top-tier work for clients in healthcare, architecture, and hospitality, including some nonprofits.
In this role, you’ll be a central part of the creative process—shaping brand identities, leading design exploration, and collaborating across disciplines. You’ll balance big-picture thinking with hands-on craft, developing work that is both strategic and beautifully executed. Along the way, you’ll help build client alignment through workshops, presentations, and clear communication. You Bring
- 5-10 years of design experience, with a focus on branding and visual communication
- Strong portfolio showing conceptual brand systems and design solutions across media
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects) and Keynote/Powerpoint
- A college degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field of study
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and familiarity with digital design tools like Figma
- Experience with art direction or creation of photograph and/or illustration
On a day-to-day basis, you will
- Collaborate with creative directors, account managers, strategists, writers, producers, and other contributors to develop creative solutions that align with our clients’ strategic goals, schedules, and budgets
- Build brands from the ground up as well as develop creative within established brand systems
- Work on multiple clients and project types
- Craft big ideas and dive deep into the details
- Communicate creative concepts clearly and effectively to both team members and clients
- Maintain current design techniques and seek to innovate

TOKY is looking for a senior- or associate-director-level brand strategist and writer. You’ll work collaboratively with our award-winning team and help lead and execute projects across campaigns, content, and brand development.

This role requires versatility and a creative, consultative mindset. You’ll help lead clients through complex brand challenges and craft narratives honed by research and industry expertise. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as the experience and presence to inspire trust from clients and colleagues.
Maybe you’re a writer who shapes brand strategy or a brand strategist who makes sense of the world through words. Either way, you’re a Creative who can distill complexity into clarity and create work that connects with clients and consumers—from the presentation deck to the deliverable itself. You’re driven not just by language or logic, but by the inspiration they help you unearth. You know how to find your way through ambiguity and make things add up to more than the sum of their parts. You’re adept at short-form and long-form marketing copy, have the creative chops to tackle difficult challenges, and find satisfaction in executing all assignments well. Even the small ones.
Responsibilities:
Craft creative strategies and campaign platforms inspired by client business needs, audience insights, and market context
Develop differentiated brand strategies and messaging platforms including positioning, promise, voice, and brand narrative
Write content for a wide variety of mediums including video/audio scripts, websites, white papers, email marketing/CRM, sales presentations, collateral, and social
Co-lead brand strategy engagements from discovery through execution, collaborating closely with account service, design, and the strategy/content team
Facilitate brand and market research to shape strategic insights, including brand audits, competitive landscape analysis, stakeholder workshops, client/customer interviews, and synthesis of key findings
Present work to clients, articulating rationale and fostering alignment across teams and stakeholders
Manage multiple projects independently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work
Champion creative and strategic excellence, upholding TOKY’s standards across all deliverables
Stay sharp on industry and cultural trends and best practices, applying new thinking to elevate client work and team processes
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and conceptual/strategic thinking skills
- 5+ years of agency experience in a creative or brand strategy role with a solid understanding of marketing, branding, and communications
- Experience creating campaigns, marketing deliverables, and/or brand strategies that answer complex business challenges
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience collaborating with clients to create consensus and deliver strategic insights and compelling brand messaging
- Proven ability to build client relationships as part of a collaborative team
Bonus points for B2B or healthcare experience

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for multiple clients, managing the full scope of engagements, including timelines and budgets. Your Expertise – What You Bring
- Agency Experience: 5-8 years of experience in account management within an agency setting. Experience with independently managing multiple accounts, managing interactive/website projects, or mentoring others is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Educational Background: A college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field of study.
Extra Points – Bonus Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign and Acrobat
- Experience managing website projects including:
- Experience working with WordPress and/or Drupal
