Vicia
Overview
In 2017, Michael and Tara Gallina opened the doors at Vicia, a vegetable-forward restaurant that has been called “one of the year’s most anticipated.” TOKY worked closely with the Vicia team to create a brand that encompasses this unique, root-to-flower approach.
ABOVE & BELOW
The Gallinas describe Vicia’s cuisine as “a celebration of what goes on both above and below the soil.” To capture that sentiment, we created a brand that “flips” the concept of traditional dining.
NATIONAL DEBUT
Much like Vicia’s ingredients, the press boxes we designed to announce the opening are cultivated with care, packaged with subtle details that capture the restaurant’s spirit.
A WEBSITE TO MATCH
To create a digital presence for the restaurant, we turned to Squarespace, customizing an existing template to create a unique, branded experience that’s easy for the Vicia team to update as often as their menu changes.
