2017 Rainforest Alliance Gala Invitation
OVERVIEW
In 1986, a small group of volunteers formed an alliance to protect our rainforests from destruction. Thirty years later, the group that would become Rainforest Alliance is celebrating three decades of international alliances and accomplishments. TOKY worked with the non-profit to create a celebratory collection of 30th anniversary gala materials.

A CIRCLE OF COLLABORATION
This year’s gala was a celebration of the alliances on which the organization is built, bringing individuals, groups, and businesses together to make a difference in our world. Designed as a circle, the invitation itself is symbolic of the inclusiveness of these important bonds.
ALIGNED & INTERACTIVE
Inspired by volvelles — analog wheels that spin to align one idea with another — we created a tactile invitation that recipients can turn to create messages of celebration and harmony.
TOGETHER, 30 YEARS STRONG
Echoing the theme of alliances, the word “together” is prominently placed across the center of the invitation in holographic foil. This iridescent splash is a subtle nod to pearls, the traditional 30th anniversary gift.
A KALEIDOSCOPIC EXPERIENCE
We carried over the look and feel of the invite to a full suite of event materials, applying the same kaleidoscopic imagery, type, and colors to the program, place cards, and more.
