Jim Harper has been a creative for more than 20 years. From his start as a digital artist in the spirits industry to his work on iconic brands such as Energizer, Miller Brewing Co., Bacardi, and Borden, Jim’s specialty has been creating culture and aligning brands with it. His work in the motorsports category with brands like Shell – Pennzoil and Quaker State included a Virtual Reality Racing Experience hosted by Jay Leno that connected with consumers across the country at every race and NASCAR and NHRA event on the calendar.

Through his career, Jim has helped multiple agencies grow from startups to mid-sized firms. As a partner at Boxing Clever, he managed clients including Brown-Forman and St. Louis Lambert Airport while simultaneously publishing children’s books with celebrities and launching a record label complete with limited-edition vinyl. Most recently, Jim founded The Corporate Electric, a design and branding consultancy in Edwardsville, Illinois that focused on branding and design for a variety of local and regional clients. Now, as a creative director at TOKY, he brings his cultural insights and design sensibility to branding and packaging projects in Food & Beverage and other categories.
