3… 2… 1… Liftoff! Firecracker Pizza & Beer Now Open in The Grove

Fpb1

In mid-March, one of St. Louis’ most anticipated new restaurants opened for business. TOKY’s been all-in since day one, taking part in countless pizza tastings and designing a long list of assets for the brand. We’re excited to see Firecracker finally
take off.

The brainchild of Chip Schloss (owner-operator of Atomic Cowboy), the Firecracker concept is a celebration of lo-fi (and maybe even lowbrow) American attitude. The brand’s identity is borne out of Chip’s affinity for vintage firecracker labels.

TOKY worked with the team at Firecracker to design the logo, packaging, press kits, signage, website, merchandise, menus, a mural, matchbooks, and more. Our work is even winning awards and recognition in Communication Arts’ Design Annual 58, at the 22nd annual AIGA St. Louis Design Show, and at the 2017 St. Louis ADDY Awards.

As for the pizza itself — artisan-American crust with globally inspired ingredients, paired with an adult beverage from one of the 66 taps, make the sparks really fly. Just ask St. Louis Magazine, Feast Magazine, Sauce Magazine, ALIVE Magazine, and the Riverfront Times.

Opening day was a real blast. Hit up Firecracker sometime soon — chances are you’ll find at least one member of team TOKY already up at the bar.

Firecracker will be serving up food for lunch, dinner, and late-night. Pop in post-concert if you’ve got the hunger pangs.

Things got started with a bang — or shall we say a “snip”?

The mannequins look damn good, but don’t you think this TOKY-designed merch would look awesome on you too?

Especially this shirt — you’ll look great in this shirt.

The tightly focused menu features pre-show items, salads, specialty pizzas, and grand finales (desserts).

Build your own pie if you so choose.

Life’s too short to eat bland pizza. Kick it up a notch by adding some hot sauce from the Fire Bar.

Visit Firecracker Pizza & Beer at 4130 Manchester Avenue, 7 days a week from
11 a.m. – 1:30 a.m.
