Summer is coming to a close, and we’re polishing things off with one final neighborhood street fest. Join us on Friday, September 26 at 5:00 p.m. for a special St. Louis Design Week edition of Live in the Alley. We’ll be shutting down Locust Street from Garrison to Cardinal for food, live music, and a beer branding competition.
Food and drinks will be available from Baileys’ Restaurants, and we’ll have tunes from not one but two local bands. Reggae group The Driftaways goes on at 5:00 p.m., and indie band Scarlet Tanager hits the stage at 7:30 p.m.
The evening will also determine the outcome of a city-wide beer branding competition. For weeks, eight agencies from around town have been hard at work naming and designing logos for beer brands of their very own. Stop by Live in the Alley to see the entries, and to vote for your favorite agency beer brand. The competition benefits the Megan Foundation, a non-profit supporting Usher Syndrome, the leading cause of deaf/blind disorders.
See you on Friday, September 26! You can RSVP and get important event updates over on Facebook.
