We’re looking to add new members to TOKY’s development and design teams. If you’re interested in making beautiful and innovative experiences, we’d love to talk. See below for more details and information on how to apply.
Hiring Immediately: Developers
We’re looking to add multiple developers to the team. We’re open to many types of developers for these positions. To help, we’ve stated a few of the things we look for in applicants and how we go about our hiring process.
- Front-end Developers: We’re open to all experience ranges for this position. We want our front-end developers to have a say in creating user interaction, in addition to being able to build clean coded pages from a detailed document with our designers. We typically use WordPress or Drupal, so candidates should have a pretty good grasp on one or both of these systems.
- Back-end Developers: We have a full listing for this position posted here. This position involves more of the heavy-lifting, after our front-end developers have their way with a site. Occasional front-end development would be required.
- Creative Developers: This position can be its own or a part of any other position listed above. We’d love to hear from the rare minds out there that love, and are good at, both design and development. We build custom sites, and we want our creative developers to push ideas and experiment with animations, transitions and design.
How to Apply and What to Expect
The best way to apply is to send an email to email@example.com. In this email, please include a link to your site (or a few sites you’ve worked on) along with your resume of past experience.
Once we review your information, if we see a potential fit we’ll be in touch. From here, the first step is to complete a short code-test that we have developed. It’s designed to take about an hour or two (at your own pace), and test applicants in the areas where we tend to work. It’s meant to be a great filter for the types of challenges developers face here, rather than a judge of how good you may be.
If you’d like to know more about us, check our our profile, meet the team, or have a look inside our studio. Our feature in Communications Arts is also a great profile of our shop and a look at the work we do.
On the Radar: Designers
We’d love to hear from designers as well. While we aren’t filling a position at this time, we may be adding staff in the coming months, and if you’ve been thinking about sending your work and resumé to us, now would be a good time. All experience levels of designers are welcome to apply. Just send your information to us at this link.
