The Chase Park Plaza
Over many years, TOKY has helped tell the story — and define the identity — of this historic luxury property and hotel in St. Louis’ thriving Central West End neighborhood.
Whether producing a sumptuous hard-bound book for private residence owners, or writing and designing a sophisticated wedding booklet for prospective families, TOKY has found great reward in being the creative firm behind The Chase.
In 2006, The Chase Park Plaza — a storied luxury hotel in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood — asked several prominent agencies to compete for the branding and marketing of its new exclusive condominiums, The Private Residences at the Chase Park Plaza.
The Chase selected TOKY as their partner, and during every year since, we have crafted a wide variety of coordinated materials for this client across all media:
- Hand-drawn logotypes and new positioning theme, “It’s All in the Chase”
- Print, radio, TV, and outdoor advertising that reinforced the Chase’s premium brand
- Chaseresidences.com, including the interactive tool for selecting floor plans and finishes
- Touch-screen kiosks for in-hotel sales and marketing of the Residences
- Evocative original photography for a range of materials
- Deluxe hard-bound book for new residence owners
Based on the success of this work on the Private Residences, the Chase engaged TOKY in early 2012 to develop a new identity and advertising campaign for the complete Chase Park Plaza brand. While the Chase had previously marketed its offerings (restaurants, hotel rooms, fitness center, weddings and events, etc.) independently of each other, TOKY is unifying them into the single Chase brand, strengthening and clarifying its unique position in the marketplace.
For this exciting rebranding effort, TOKY is again developing advertising and creative that crosses all key services and media — from copywriting to photography, website development to sophisticated print materials. One such print piece has been “Weddings at the Chase Park Plaza,” a 24-page booklet that tells a comprehensive story of The Chase as an historic yet contemporary site for these celebrations, with an understated sophistication and elegance befitting the landmark.
