St. Louis Public Library Foundation
From playful invitations to inspiring short films, TOKY has developed a wide range of materials for this client, all leading up to the $70 million reopening of the grand Central Library.
TOKY’s intricate invitations to the Library Foundation’s annual gala have been especially well received by the community and in design competitions around the country. (They also disappear quite quickly from our sample room.)
It has been a critical few years for the St. Louis Public Library Foundation, the fundraising and charitable arm of St. Louis’ remarkable Central Library.
The Foundation is in the midst of a $70 million capital campaign to restore and modernize its historic structure. In helping the Foundation achieve its ambitious goals, TOKY has crafted the following:
- Core campaign messaging
- Banners for the Library facade (partnering with illustrator Noah Woods)
- “Central To Your World’ microsite
- Short film celebrating the Central Library’s re-opening (in association with Once Films)
Above and beyond the capital campaign, TOKY has designed and developed a full website for the Foundation; rebranded the organization with a new suite of business papers; and — perhaps most notably — designed the series of iconic invitations for the Foundation’s annual Gala. These invitations regularly receive regional and national acclaim, both for their design and their writing.
“Too many people forget that good design is good for business. We have been extremely fortunate to have aligned ourselves with TOKY these past years.”
Rick Simoncelli, President, St. Louis Public Library Foundation
